2021 GMC Acadia

You have five trim levels to choose from for the latest GMC Acadia: the SL, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. While every model has an appealing design, each one offers its own unique features. At the base SL trim level, you'll find 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with all-season tires, C-shaped LED signature lighting, and heated power outside mirrors with turn signal indicators. Move up to the SLE trim to get available features like a hands-free programmable liftgate and brushed aluminum roof-mounted side rails. Power for the 2021 GMC Acadia will come from one of three engines. Standard in the lower trims is a capable 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 193 horsepower and 198 pound-feet of torque. Higher trims are available with either a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine or a 3.6-liter V-6 engine. If you equip the turbo engine, the Acadia will generate 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the V-6 option pumps out an impressive 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. All of these engines are mated to a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission.

Depending on the trim level you choose, some of the performance features that make this SUV able to handle whatever you throw its way include auto start-stop technology, front-wheel drive, electronic stability control with traction control, and a road emergency tool kit. You can upgrade to also get options like an active torque control all-wheel-drive system, a traction select system with Off-Road mode, and a performance suspension system.

Inside, the Acadia offers spacious seating for either six or seven people, and the cargo area can be expanded to fit up to 79 cubic feet of gear. You'll stay connected thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi hot spot and the infotainment system that provides you with an 8-inch touch-screen display with available navigation. Other comforts and conveniences you might enjoy, depending on the model you select, include a heated steering wheel, perforated leather seats, and heated front and rear seats.
